HR Manager

We have a satisfying role for an experienced HR professional looking to take on a part time (80%) position with wide-ranging responsibility.

Anemoi is a global provider of proven wind technology, driving a more sustainable future for the shipping industry.  We have designed modern mechanical sails, known as Rotor Sails, which are comprised of tall cylinders. These harness the renewable power of the wind to propel ships, significantly reducing fuel consumption and lowering harmful emissions entering our atmosphere.

Our UK team is currently 30 people, likely to grow to c40 people in 2022, based from our offices in London and Brockenhurst. In addition, we have a small team in China.  We are preparing our organisation to scale significantly so although we’re currently small, we are highly professional in our approach and looking to build a solid foundation for the future.

Supported by an external HR Consultant who can mentor and advise as needed, and managing our Office Manager who will assist with some administration and practicalities, you will have responsibility for the full HR remit including:

  • Full end to end scarce skills Recruitment
  • L&D and Performance Management
  • Culture and Wellbeing
  • HR Operations
  • Compensation and Benefits, including payroll
  • HR projects, eg expat assignments, HRIS improvements, too many to mention!

You will be degree-level educated, probably CIPD qualified, with solid HR Generalist experience, ideally in the marine, engineering or technology sectors and used to working with technical professionals.  Capable of taking on a stand-alone role, maybe for the first time, you will be quietly confident and secure in the application of your HR knowledge.   Versatility, problem solving and diplomacy are a must.  Willingness to travel to our Brockenhurst office will be required every 1-2 months.
