Sales Support Executive

Reporting to: CEO

Are you interested in furthering the environmental agenda in shipping?  At Anemoi we have designed modern mechanical sails, known as Rotor Sails, which are comprised of tall cylinders. These harness the renewable power of the wind to propel ships, significantly reducing fuel consumption and lowering harmful emissions entering our atmosphere.

We are now looking for a Sales Support Executive to support our international sales effort which would suit someone with a strong sales administration background, ideally in the marine sector.

 

The role will involve:

  1. Taking ownership for sales proposals and RFI/RFP responses, drafting input as required and collating all input to produce coherent, consistent and complete documents
  2. Preparing presentations and other materials for client/ prospect meetings
  3. Taking minutes of meetings and follow up on actions on behalf of the sales team, gaining input from others as required
  4. Taking responsibility for sales processes to assist the sales team to follow them and improving and automating them to make them more effective and efficient.
  5. Ensuring that all functions in Anemoi are kept up to date with sales progress and how this will impact their functions
  6. Managing of the company CRM system
  7. Supporting and assisting with the post-sale handover process to the Projects/ Engineering team
  8. Supporting and assisting preparing materials for business intelligence, grant applications, board and investor packs and other or documentation as may be required
  9. Ad hoc support and assist Projects/ Engineering team with e.g. supply chain and documentation related matters

 

About you:

You will be degree educated in either a business or engineering/technical discipline.  Following this, you will have proven sales-support experience in a B2B role for high value products and services, ideally in the marine sector – eg shipping, maritime sales, maritime technologies.
