Approach

• 4 Rotor Sails (5m x 35m) were installed 
• The Rotor Sails were installed on Anemoi’s bespoke folding deployment system, whereby the sails can be folded from the vertical to mitigate impact on air draught and cargo handling operations when in port. 
• Mobilisation of global supply chain and full stakeholder engagement, including management of the Class approval process 
• The Rotor Sails were transported to the yard and stored in the yard prior lifting on the vessel. This installation was the fastest installation achieved by Anemoi (23 days). 
• All Rotor Sails are automated and controlled from the Bridge Control Unit (BCU)
